Overview
The European Mahjong Association is an international organisation for the interests of Mahjong in Europe. Established in 2005, EMA certifies competitions held by national organisations and hosts European championships. They maintain the Mahjong Europe Ranking System (MERS) with separate ranking lists for Chinese Mahjong (MCR) and Japanese Mahjong (Riichi/RCR) rulesets.
